Flowers deep pink, somewhat resembling those of Steeplebush but clusters more spreading or divergent. Note the distinctive leaves, which are deeply divided and interruptedly compound.

Height: 2-6 feet

Found: Moist prairies and meadows.

Blooms: June-August
