Pink Lady's-Slipper

Family: Orchid (Orchidaceae)

The heavily veined, deeply cleft pink pouch is distinctive. Rarely white. Note also the 2 oval basil leaves (giving rise to the name Stemless Lady's-slipper).

Height: 6-15 inches

Found: Acid woods and sometimes bogs.

Blooms: May-June
