Pearly Everlasting
Anaphalis margaritacea

Family: Daisy (Compositae)

The most showy of the everlastings. Flowers n a flat cluster of globular heads, with dry, petal-like white bracts, arranged in series around the yellow staminate center (pistillate flowers are on separate plants). Stem cottony. Leaves long, linear; usually gray-green, above woolly beneath. Extremely variable.

Height: 1-3 feet

Found: Dry soils and pastures.

Blooms: July-September
