Leaves fleshy, succulent, coarsely toothed; often with whitish bloom. Stems often purplish. Flowers 5-pointed, pink-purple.
NOTE: The edible leaves can be used in a salad or boiled as fresh greens.
Height: 12 to 18 inches
Found: Roadsides, waste places.
Blooms: August to September
