Family: Daisy (Compositae)

Flat-topped clusters of small yellow-rayed flowers. Small leaves attached to flowering stem; also larger, long-stalked basal leaves. Not the heart-shaped, long stalked basal leaves, often reddish beneath. Variable.

Height: 1-3 feet

Found: Wet meadows, swamps and boggy woods.

Blooms: April-July
