Flowers 5 petaled (1/4 to 1/3 in), sky-blue with yellow eye, on two diverging branches (false racemes), which uncoil as flowers bloom. Stems lightly hairy, angled; leaves alternate, sessile, hairy.

Found: Brooksides and wet places.
