Note the upward-facing, tawny, unspotted blossoms (open 1 day only). Unlike flowering stem in true lilies, it is leafless here. Leaves long, swordlike. An escape from gardens.

Height: 3-6 feet

Found: Roadsides and meadows.

Blooms: June-August
