Mostly tall, erect plants, branching at the top of the stem. The flowers are in small heads, together forming a broad, often flat cluster. Readily recognised by it's pierced leaves. Stems hairy. Flowers grayish-white. Leaves taper-pointed.
Height: 2-5 feet
Found: Low ground, thickets and swamps.
Blooms: July-October
