Family: Daisy (Compositae)

Note the big, single, slender-stemmed blossom with it's numberous (10-20) long, daisylike rays and chocolate-colored center disk. Leaves and stem very bristly-hairy.

Height:1-3 feet

Found: Dry fields, roadsides, open woods and waste places.

Blooms: June-October
