White Water-Buttercup
Ranunculus longirostris

Family: Buttercup (Ranunculaceae)

Note the small, 5 petaled white blossom on the surface of the water and the submerged tuffs of feathery leaves. There are three similar species, seperated by technical characters. The leaves of this species are fairly stiff.

Found: Ponds and slow water.

Blooms: May-September
