Family: St.Johnswort (Guttiferae)

Leaves toothless, dotted with tiny translucent or black glands. A very large species with large elliptic leaves (2-3 inches). Flowers (2 inches) with very bushy stamens and 5 styles spreading from united base (most speicies have 3 styles)

Height: 2-6 feet

Found: Wet places and stream banks

Blooms: June-August
