Note the 4 white bracts that surround the center cluster of the insignifigant greenish flowers, giving the aspect of a single blossom. Leaves in a whorl of 6. Fruit a tight cluster of scarlet berries.

Height: 3-8 inches

Found: Cold woods and mountain slopes.

Blooms: May-July
