Description: Erect, herbaceous, short-lived perennial from 1-3 inches tall. The leaves are alternate, lanceolate, and somewhat asymmetrical, averaging 3/4 to 1 inch long and half as wide. The nearly sessile flowers are solitary in the leaf axils and have 5 buff yellow, lobed petals. The flowers measure about 1/2 inch long.
