Description: Prostrate, herbaceous perenial with hairy stems and opposite, hairy, lanceolate leaves from 3/8 - 3/4" long. The trumpet shaped flowers are 6 lobed, light pink with a white throat, and measure about 3/8" wide. The flowers close at night and are produced in terminal and axillary clusters.
Found: Pinelands and open disturbed sites, especially lawns and roadsides. Native to South America.
