RICKS    HOMEPAGE
Just a small site to host pics of my cars    and links to my  bands websites enjoy!!
CARS I STILL OWN
57 Chev Belair. My pride and joy.The plan at the moment is to have it finished    for its 50th birthday(cant rush these things). But the way im going it may be    my 50th birthday.Oh well i think it will be worth the wait because they are    my all time favourite car.Plans include a blown small block, mini tubbed ,body off resto including a full undecarriage detail.
LJ    Torana. A whole heap of fun. It is almost ready for rego.Cant wait.I just need    a new set of wheels and tyrres and then i will need another set of tyres and another set. This too i will sell soon because i want to concentrate 100% on my 57.There is a vid of me terrorizing the neighbours.Nearly ready for rego now
HK    Monaro. I bought it as you see in the pics but it has changed since then.I have    started building the motor. Its a 383 methanol fuel injected small block.should    be a lot of fun.Cant wait till they open the new track at the creek.Due to lack    of space in my garage i will have to sell it fairly soon but i hope to have    a few runs first.
CARS I HAVE SOLD
HQ    GTS Monaro.Yes it was a real 4 door GTS monaro. Its amazing how many people argue    about that. But they need to check their holden book.8Q96= 4door GTS monaro.Anyway    this was my first car.I bought it when i was 15 and had it around 10 years.2    ground up rebuilds, many engines/gearboxes/diffs.It ended up to much work to    clean it all the time compared to how much i drove it.So sold it was.
VN    Calais.i bought standard and didnt intend on doing anything to it.But you know    how it is.A few stone chips,a cheap group A spoiler kit pops up and, well here    is the end result.i sold it to a mate because of my love for old cars.so i got    me a 2 door HJ and realised that i love old cars, but not driving them everyday.
HJ Monaro.I built this after selling the calias.a bit of a bad move because    i didnt enjoy driving it everyday as much as i thought i would and ended up    selling it a few months later.had to put in heaps of work too.massive amounts    of rust had to be removed, the trim redone, and then i put in a 308 with VN injection    with power steer and air conditioning.I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to    do this job.Fitting hq a/c with vn injection is a real pain the ass.
LX    Torana. Sorry to all the LH/LX fans out there but i only built this for hte    sake of saying i had one.i dont like them as much as LJ's but people always    say to me "you should build a LH instead of your HQ or LJ".So now    i can say "I DID"Any wayz i dont hate them and i did have a few runs    at the creek which was a good experience. It only ran a 13.9 but i thought that    was pretty good considering it was pretty much stock.
HQ    Premier.I originally bought this to scab the twin light front and a few bits    and pieces.but as usual i got carried away and the end result wasnt too bad. It    had a 6 in it when i got it.I sold the engine on a thursday morning, painted    the engine bay the same day, slotted the 308 in the next day and drive to my    girlfriends house who had no idea i was even planning it.Well you could imagine    the look on her face when she seen it.
HQ    1 Tonner.Another one of those projects that shouldn't of happened. It popped    up at the right price and bingo, all my other projects go on hold. The good thing    about it was i am a boilermaker by trade and i finally got to use some of those    skills for good and i built the tray from scratch.
V8    Gemini.OK its not much of a show car but i think people would like to see it.A    mate of mine slapped it together with a 253 in it.Then i got a hold of it and    in went a 308.This thing was one awesome paddock basher.Stock gemi wheels and    diff made an interesting ride.If i ever get my wish and buy a house on a few    acres i will definitely be doing another one
