In the next few years, I lived up to my committment that I made to Jesus. I started reading God's Word and praying regularly, and I began to tell my friends about the forgiveness I found in Jesus Christ. Sharing Jesus Christ has been my greatest joy in the past five years! I praise Him because His gift is not something that I need to keep all for myself, but something that I need to share with others! I had the opportunity to share my Lord with American Indians during a summer missions' trip to their reservation. I distinctly remember sharing my faith to a Native American youth. I told the boy that God loves him and has a special plan for his life. I cannot adequately express the joy I felt when he said yes to Jesus! I led him in the sinner's prayer, and he believed in Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. One of these days I know that I will meet Him in heaven. Last summer, I was able to travel to a China University and teach English. While we were there, God was able use us to lead two people to Christ! I have realized that I have had many doubts about God. I questioned whether God loved me, and if God really will forgive my sin and accept me for who I am. But these doubts faded away when I experienced that GOD is so reall! God is faithful! 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from every wrong."This verse shows the power of forgiveness through Jesus CHrist alone! Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty of the sins of both mines' and yours'. If you have tried to convince yourself that you have done the most terrible things that God will never forgive you, don't believe that lie! God has already forgiven you through Jesus Christ, He has paid for ALL of your sins-past, present, and ones still to come. All you have to do is accept God's precious gift of Jesus and start a new life with Him!
Today I have trusted in the living God who never fails and the One who always forgives. It's the best decision I made! But it doesn't stop there...my prayer is that you will make this decision. However, the decision must be made between you and God. Believe in Jesus Christ!
