| The President's Scholars are a diverse association of Cal State Fullerton students who have one goal in common-to achieve the highest standard of academic excellence while making their college experience a memorable one. The year 2001 has brought many changes; for the first time we number over 104 scholars, many received updated Dell laptops (madly equipped with wireless internet and plug and play hardware), two scholars studying abroad (they're pretty far away but they're coming back), and a surge of new activities, special events, and community service opportunities. We've been in several movie/tv tapings, various fundraising walks (AIDS, CHOC, MS), volunteered at Ronald McDonald's House, Adopt-A-Family, Boys & GIrls Clubs, and even throw in a few hip hop socials here and there! |
