MATERIALS
All band students must come to class prepared with the following materials.  Being prepared for class helps us spend more time playing and less time passing out music or searching for books. Having your instrument and materials for class is a big part of your participation grade.  Participation/behavior accounts for 60% of your final band grade.
6th Grade Band
~Intsrument/sticks for drummers
~"Standard of Excellence" Book One for the                  instrument you play
~Music Folder
~Pencil
~Reeds if you are a clarinet or saxophone player
~All sheet music that has been passed out in class
~Drummers must have a copy of all the percussion parts for each song.  This allows a drummer to cover another part if needed.
7th and 8th Grade Band
~Instrument/sticks for drummers
~"Standard of Excellence" Book Two for the                   instrument you play
~8th grade students may need Book Three in January
