This runs from Windsor Junction through Burnside Industrial Park and downtown Dartmouth to industries in Eastern Passage. Again I ask that in all of these locations that you do not trespass since most of these areas are fairly easy viewing access from streets and parking lots.
The yard for the Dartmouth sub is located along the Dartmouth waterfront partially underneath the Angus L MacDonald Bridge (known locally as the " old bridge " ). Easy viewing is gained along many streets and parking lots here, and from the pedestrian walkway of the bridge itself . The track continues east to follow the water out to Eastern Passage to service Autoport and the refineries located along Pleasant Street.
The track leaves Dartmouth yard heading west following the water and paralleling Windmill Road to Burnside Industrial Park. Transloading of gypsum to ocean going ships occurs at National Gypsum's Wright's Cove facility, located on Wrights Mill Road off Windmill Road. Industrial switching is also found west of here in lower end of Burnside Industrial Park with the majority of it located near Mosher Drive (just off Akerley Boulevard). It then travels to Windsor Junction and only crosses two roads before getting there, both in Waverley : Rocky Lake Drive runs from Bedford to Waverley , and Cobequid Road runs from Waverley to Lower Sackville. Windsor Junction is viewed from Fall River Road, which intersects Cobequid Road.
