Wishes are a bigh thing with Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and her young daughter, Kate. "I light candles every night for dinner, and Kate makes a wish on them. And every night that we're out, we with upon a star," teh actress tells us. But the biggest night for wishes is New Year's Eve, as the clock strikes midnight. "I don't do resolutions. I do wishes with 12 grapes. And at each {stroke} of midnight, you eat a grape. It's been in our family for years. Both my parents are German, so I asked my dad what German tradition it was. He said, 'No, no, no, it isn't a German tradition. I once saw  Charo d it on THE TONIGHT SHOW." Grahn still laughs just thinking about it. "O was like, 'Oh my God! For 25, 30 years we've been coping Charo? "Coochie-Coochie" Charo?' It was a little shocking to find that out." Even so, the grape tradition continues. "Wecan's not do it," Grahn says with a shrug.
