I Wonder as I look at the gleam in your eyes, is it just happiness I see or is it just lies? Did someone hurt you? Did anyone hold your hand when the storms of life roared like thunder? I Wonder was mama there for you when your boo boo was black and blue? Did she put a happy bandage on it, then kissed you?
I Wonder when your childhood dreams flew way...way high in the sky, did someone grab them crush them and say, "Kiss your dreams goodbye!"?
