Come on now, you can never forget where you came from and even though I haven't actually left where I came from, I have to put something up that tells you about what I've been doing for my community.
Besides me being CEO of Roro Productions and being webmaster for over 11 websites. Program Coordinator for the Latino Cultural School of Arts, I have written in the La Prensa, Latino Barrio, La Mesa Latina, and Bravo! Magazine, I have helped organize the 5-9th Annual Hispanic Leadership Conference's sponsored by the UAW and 27 other collaborating organizations.
I was Project Coordinator for Lorain County Community College's Los Unidos organization, DJ @ LC3 radio called the Roro Hour, Producer/Marketing agent for The Latino Media Group.
Now I work for a local Grassroots Organization and by night I work on my play entitiled "Goodbye Moon", working on my Hip-Hop demo for an independant lable and my slam poetry or what I like to call ROETRY. I have started a new online magazine for Latin women called Mija Magazine. Check it out! |
