BUTTERFLIES
Ribera Norte is visited by many
species of butterflies which are surely the most colourful among insects.
Here are photos of some of the many species I have seen here. Abundance
is very dependant on the season, with little to nothing to see in
winter, and summer boasting wide diversity. There can also be marked
differences of some species from one year to another.
The photos marked with the symbol RN
have been taken at Ribera Norte.
