Boys in Dibouka dancing during the retrait deuil, or mourning period, for someone from their family.
The last day of a ceremony to initiate young men from Dibouka into Bouiti (Bwiti), the animist religion encompassing most of Gabon. The boys are in red "loin cloths" sitting on a log in front of l'hangar (the hut)

During La Fete d'Independence (17 August, 2000) in Koulamoutou, the capital of the Ogooue-Lolo province, each colonie (country represented in the province) was allowed to walk a group in the parade down the main street. This is the Beninoise group. I don't know anything about their costumes, though.
