| Teddie Remembered v Riata Edan was born on September 27, 2001 and named after our dear friend Teddie Waldrop who died July 27, 2001. Teddie Waldrop (Bokenkamp Kennels), Ann Schultz (Edan Kennels) and I were excited about the upcoming breeding between Teddie's Peddacres Mr. Goodbar OFA (5 points 1 major) and Ann's and my Bewitching of Landsend Edan OFA Hips and Elbows when Teddie suddenly died. A litter of 7 beautiful puppies resulted from this breeding (5 males, 2 females). We decided this would be the Memory Litter. Teddie is a beautiful Black and Tan Bitch with outstanding movement and a "Look at Me"!! show attitude. Teddie, along with her brother Magical Memories v Riata Edan, is going to be so much fun to show. Watch for her with her handler Ross Farrell! |

| I lost my beautiful Teddie on January 6, 2004 to the DEADLY FUNGUS INFECTION, ASPERGILLUS. It started in her spleen and ended up in her spine and brain. BEWARE anyone living South of the Mississippi and into California!! This fungus lives in the ground and can be picked up by any dog. If the dog and owner are lucky, the dog dies within the first week. I know that is a cruel thing go say but it is so true. The cost of the medicine that might keep it from spreading in the body is well over 500 dollars a month. There is no cure and it always spreads. Teddie and I fought this for 8 months and I fought it a month or so longer than she wanted. Teddie was born in my hands on September 27, 2001 and died in my arms on January 6, 2004. Nothing is the same anymore..... |
