Directions: NE, W, NW, SW, E, SE, S, N
Natal Element: Yang Earth
Nourishing Element: Fire

Energies
A heavy leaning to Yin energies is present.  Yin represents the feminine (darker) side of the balance of energies and is symbolized by cool, dampness, passivity, darkness and rich colour.  To achieve greater harmony an emphasis towards bright colours, brighter lighting, warmth, exercise, socializing and activity are encouraged.

Elements
Metal (discipline, solidity and fluency of speech) is the strongest element present followed by Water (wisdom, willpower, sensitivity and persuasiveness).  Both Earth and Wood are missing.  An increase in Wood elements (Colours - teal, blue and green; Shapes - tall columns; Items - wood furniture, wood floors, stripes, plants and natural fabrics) is recommended as is an increase in Earth elements (Colours - copper, bronze, yellow, gold, orange, beige and brown; Shapes - straight lines and rectangles; Items - prisms, crystal, terracotta, sand, plants and ceramics).  Building on Fire elements (Colours - reds and pinks; Shapes - triangles and peaks; Items - candles, mirrors, incense, silk and wool) will create a more nurturing environment.

Fire people provide nourishment and nourishment is provided to Metal people.  Control is exerted over water people while Wood people extend control.

Pa Kua
The number 2 represents the duality of Yin/Yang and indicates a tendency to see two side of a story as well as a balanced appreciation of life and events in general.

Directions
Best
North East is the most beneficial direction and is symbolized by Romantic Relationships and Marriage - the most valued of life's elements and the one that comes most naturally.  Family and Health (West) and Wealth (North West) are also valued and important.  Place photos and items that relate to current relationships in the North East corner of rooms most commonly occupied (red, pink and white are recommended colours).  On the West wall, place pictures of loved ones and objects connoting good mental and physical health (the colour green and plants are recommended).  For increasing Wealth, place gold or gold coins, red objects and a plant in the North West corner.

Worst
Fame and Advancement (North) are hardest to come by and least valued.  Place items that relate to success and reputation and use red on the North wall to achieve better balance.  On the South wall (Helpful People and Travel) use black and place postcards, souvenirs and items that relate to personal growth and career achisdevements.

Year of Birth
The year of the Boar represents sincerity, love, courageousness, intelligence, socialability and chivalry.  It is important to guard against being naive or defenseless.  Recommended careers include: doctor, banker, entertainer, entrepreneur.  Partner with a Rabbit or Goat and avoide a Snake.
