All that's left to do is archive this crappy page and put something interesting up instead. Everything else is done...

Major Changes
My website sucks.
I'm trying to make a lot changes so that it won't suck so bad. First, I deleted all the old sections that I never finished ('School' and 'For Fun'). They were either gay/bitter/too much work/all of the above. I've replaced them with new sections: Harry Potter and Miscellaneous. The new changes are infinitely more gay than what used to be there, BUT they're less work. So the chances seem good that I'll actually finish them one day. And they probably won't be high maintainance. That way I will never have to worry about updating them. Oh. And I made my homepage all javascripty and cool. Eat that.
All of these "news reports" (which actually say next to nothing about my life and are boring as hell) will be archived. If you a boring and like to read boring text, I will keep these things available for you. But you owe me. Hopefully, after I finish the Harry Potter/Misc. parts of the website, I will make this page more like a blog. But's that's me being optimistic.
TTFN, bitches

Bye bye, MacGrill
It's too hard to keep a job and try to study and practice, so I left Macaroni Grill. And just in time...
Yes, Jeanne B is cool, but she doesn't talk about South Park at lunch and Gary will. If I could study with anyone for the next two years, it would be him. I love that he is not a snob; I love that he will be friendly to you no matter who's around. There is no one who's influenced my playing more than him, and I owe him so much for how he helped me get over my tendonitis last year. Hopefully, I will be at NYU studying with him next year.
Jeanne B is so cool.
I love you Jen, Kim, Judith, Dan the Man, Brian, Francois, and Christine. I played for Jeanne, Alberto Almarza, and Josh Smith. It went fairly well. Carnegie Mellon is a wonderful school, and I'll be returning there for a lesson this fall and then auditioning in the spring.

Hello, Macaroni Grill
I was hired at the Mac Shack during finals week of the Spring Semester. Lots of fun. Lots of drama. Lots of sad endings. I plead the fifth. If you don't already know, I'm sorry, I'm not saying anything more. On a lighter note, my cooking skills radically improved over the summer at Macaroni Grill and I developed a better palate for wine.

I'm so totally on Spring break in Florida. Be jealous.
I'm going camping all the way down the peninsula, finally making my way to Dry Tortugas, an island that is 70 miles from Key West and over 180 miles from the tip of the mainland This kicks ass. Hopefully, it will storm while we're on the island, and I'll be stranded there for a while and miss some school.
In any case, I will be spending days and days doing the five S's:
Swimming
Sunning
Snorkeling
Sweating
Sleeping
See you later!!

So you've probably noticed that the For Fun page is not coming along at all
That's because it's going to take me for-freaking-ever to put up all the videos and links and crap that I have in mind. SO. Here's the deal. I'll be working on it in the background, but I won't post anything till I have 250 hits on my front page. That's right. 250. Do it, and I promise I'll make this page the best one on my whole site.

All my pictures are done!
I finished with my pictures of Canada and Mexico, which I had saved for last. It takes me a looong time to edit all the images and try to get them to upload quickly. I've put up well over 100 images over the last week. Enjoy!! All of the pics in the Canada section are really good - you should go see them.

NFA Recording Finished!!!
Yay! I spent three days recording the first movement of the Reinecke "Undine" Sonata and a piece for solo flute by Toru Takemitsu. I got some good takes, and I just have to pick one of each piece to send in for the NFA's Masterclass Competition. I think the recording is a good example of how well I can play, but who knows whether it will be even close to good enough to make the cut. Later, I will rerecord the music in MP3 format and post it online. Unfortunatly, I still have to record some Mozart expositions for the Baxtresser Masterclass, but hopefully I won't spend too much money & time trying to get that done. I certainly won't take three days to do it!!
I didn't get much done on the Travel page except design the front. I haven't uploaded any pictures yet, and I will probably have to design for another Geocities account to hold all my files. On the other hand, I've finished the School page, and I started finding people to add the Students section. There is also a new poll on the Research page. You'll probably most enjoy watching Memorial Coloseum blow up. At least, it's my favorite part.
This is the first page on my site (other than the opening page) that I've finished so far!! (I heart the flute!) I'm working hard to get everything else up and working. I've got especially big plans for the School page and the For Fun page. More updates are coming soon.

I remade my website!
I don't know what possessed me to do it, but all of a sudden, I wanted to have a working website again. It will take me a little while to update all of these pages and add new ones, but I'll find the time to do it.
