I was in a room alone
Talking to many people
Gibberish being tossed back and forth
And then off handedly
His name was mentioned
And then I was outside
Surrounded by strangers I knew so well
And he was there
And I went to him
And we embraced
He whispered in my ear
He'd missed me as much as I had missed him
And I started to cry
And he held me tighter
Slow fade to black
I was aside, he sat with me
We talked just as we used to
As if there had been no interruption
And I awoke
And there was one lingering tear in my eye
