You may have started asking yourself what's up with all this Braille stuff...well there's a very good reason for it. Jake's blind. He's actually down to like 2½ senses though cuz he can't smell right now either, he's had this sinus infection for like four years or something. Jake had cancer when he was a baby and they had to remove his left eye before it spread to his brain, and he slowly lost vision in his right, and by about middle school it was all gone. They dumped toxic chemicals in Love Canal and that's where they lived when Jake was in utero, and that's why he had cancer, and that's why i can't go near love canal, cuz i get really sad and pissed off. Anyways, we get those plastic sleeves for trading cards and I practice Braille by brailling Jake's Magic cards. But I still suck at grade 2, which is a bunch of abbreviated symbols and stuff, i can barely remember the difference between F and D...
