FCCLA Week
National FCCLA week is a time to market FCCLA to your school and community.  Challenge your members to come up with some ideas for letting their peers know what they are doing, other teachers and the community.  You are all doing some types of community service; so let others know about it.  You might even plan a fundraiser for the National Outreach project and provide a photo op.  At the state level, we are planning to deliver statewide community service projects to Hasbro and Linus Project during that week.   Hopefully we can get some mention in local papers.  We are also planning on a billboard on Rte 10 during the week.

FCCLA Party
The Executive Council has planned a Mardi Gras party for high school members during FCCLA week.  It will be held at St. Mary of the Bay church hall in Warren.  We will provide a bus for Cranston members.  The state officers have details.

State Leadership Meeting
The state officers have been busy planning the FCCLA Party and have started working on SLM.  It looks like the theme is related to environment and will focus on getting started and what members can do.  Plan now to have your members attend this leadership development activity.  Details will be sent later, but plan the date.
