| When I was in 1st grade (7 years old), I went with a team from my church to China. My mom was also on the team. We went to smuggle Bibles across the border from Hong Kong to China to drop them off and have contacts take them to Christians who needed them. I don't remember much of the trip since I was so young. I do remember taking my Cabbage Patch Kid, Barbara, and being scared as we crossed the border. We did get caught a few times but we didn't get arrested. The guards just take the Bibles away and give them back when you head back into Hong Kong. |
