Recorded in Australia and Sweden, studios and living rooms, this 9-track release comes hot on the heels of the band's Cowboys in Sweden album. On the Vodka Line EP Jack & the Beanstalk continue exploring more possibilities of the 3 minute pop format with hints of country, punk and good old fashioned rock n' roll.

The disc opens with three fresh studio tracks; Vodka Line (up-tempo and jangly, a ferry trip across the Baltic will explain all), She Does The Handclaps (tongue-in-check punk-pop; it's taking piss out of bands, not the groupies!) and one of the disc's highlights, Bleed (melancholy country and possibly a sign of things to come from the group).

The remainder of the tracks are rarities that are unreleased or hard to find, you will at the very least be enamoured by their take on the Hazlewood's classic, These Boots… As an added bonus a collection of live acoustic demos, including some favourites from the group's repertoire, will give you a special insight into how the songs are born.
