THE USS HADES NCC-81555
PROMETHEUS CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
Welcome to the USS Hades, ship specifications page. This will give you a walk-through of many of the ships primary systems and functions of operation. First we'll start with the basics. This is a Prometheus Class Starship. One of Starfleet's finest battle cruisers. If you'll look directly above you'll see the our bridge. The Command chair is directly in the center where the duty officer can watch everything that goes on around the bridge. A few meters behind the command chair is the Master Situation Monitor. This is used by the engineer and the commander that is on duty to make decisions about ships operations, given the situation. It gives acuate reports ranging from damage to how many torpedoes are left, to the the sensor accuracy. The MSM (Master Situation Monitor) has a computer image of the ship which can easy alert the bridge to problems anywhere in the ship. Other stations on the bridge include the XO's chair (to the right of the captain), the standard helm, operations, science, environmental control, technical, and tactical stations. The main viewer is a holographic screen that appears whenever commanded.
One of the Prometheus Class's main features is the multi-vectoral attack seperation. This is when the ship splits into three seperate warp capiable pieces. The procedures for a MVAM (multi-vectoral attack mode) sepeartion is first a Blue Alert is initiated, signalling all hands to their battle stations in their assigned spots for the seperation. Then the command staff takes their positions on their assigned bridges and the computer does the rest. The Promtetheus class is most known for it's seperation ability at high warp velocities.
This is how a few of our corridors look.
In addition to it's capiable tactical ability, the Prometheus class starships have landing foot pads which enable it to land in an area on a planet. This is not recommeneded unless deamed absolutely nessesary by the duty officer, executive, or commanding officer.
Even the Prometheus classes get hit sometimes. But it's multi-layered sheilding system reflects most of it until the shields are drained completely. The shields operate on an automatic remodulation sequence. The computer takes data from incoming fire and uses it to recalibrate the shielding system to give the ship the best amount of coverage and protection.

Being a battle ship per say, we don't have much room for many high tech medical facilities. But again, being a battle ship. People are going to get hurt and there has to be a place to treat them. So in the picture above you see our ships medical services, hospital or whatever you want to call them. But we refer to it as Sickbay.
