Taking students to dances to practice was so much fun.

Because I enjoy people, ball room dancing was my
profession. Teaching private and classes to couples,
enabled me to meet and acquire through the years,
  many true friends.
Later, while visiting a nursing home, I was saddened
at the mental condition of most of the residents.
Knowing the magic of music, I implemented a form
of dance therapy to area nursing homes.  My only
goal in giving this therapy was "to make the
residents happy"  It was a great success, and for
over 13 years I serviced 16 nursing homes each
week--- What a joy it was to see those wheel chairs
bounce, and see the smiles and hear the laughter!!!!
From the encouragement of the residents was born
  another therapeutic program.

Memory Enhancement For Senior Adults

This workshop taught clients fun and lighthearted tricks for memory retention. It continues today for special interest groups.
The nurses who always seemed to fill the room on their break, during the dance therapy sessions, when asked why they were there responded "you make us feel so good" were the catalyst for another therapy program "Recycle Yourself".
This workshop taught clients to rid themselves of the garbage of their past, and immerge a more positive happy person. It  also continues for special interest groups.
Besides keeping busy with the above, I also have found a new love "writing mystery dinner theatre plays--- Writing, Casting, Directing, is a challenge, but seeing the characters on paper, come alive on stage, is all worth it--- Five plays and one musical have been presented under the umbrella of the Kentucky Arts council, and one has been presented in Ormond Beach Florida.  Mini Skits and a future play are now being considered.
When this life is over, I request one sentence on my tombstone
