Currently Attending: Urbana University, Urbana, Ohio. I am a sophomore English major with an intent to go into writing fiction in the future.
Currently Working: As an assistant editor for Dr. David George, professor of English at same U.U. I correlate editions of Shakespeare's Coriolanus, translate code in computer files, write bibliographic entries, and do whatever else I'm told for $6.50 an hour. If anyone was curious, it takes about ten hours to do a full correlation.

ABOUT THE WEBMASTER

I am 5'3 and weigh about 160 lbs according to my driver's license, which also says I'm female, and may or may not be fully accurate. The driver's license will also tell you that my hair and eyes are both brown, but when I feel like being romantic, I add red highlights and bits of green and gold. It might add to this that my birthdate is July 25, 1985, and that my license needs to be renewed sometime in 2006. It will further add that you must not drink and drive, but it won't tell you that I had my teeth straightened, possess no tattoos or piercings, and on the whole pay no attention to what I eat and live quite sedentarily. Though the license won't tell you, the picture of myself probably will, and you'll figure out real quick that I'm white. Rather white; I do not tan well, not that I even attempt to. So I'm European-American (if you want my screaming fit about the term "caucasian," you can write me for it!), with influences of 1/8th German, some French, English, and Scandenavian anscestry.

I live in an attic bedroom in my parents' house, which was built in 1995/6. In my room, you will find two beds, a nightstand, a dresser, a windowseat, a desk, a computer, a TV/VCR, a record player, a radio, two bookshelves, a box fan, a computer, and that's essentially it for the large basics. Of course there are the obligatory bulletein board, posters, and other fixings that can typically be attributed to a "teengirl's" room. Oh, yeah, there's a phone in here. I knew there was something else. I rarely ever stir from my place in front of the computer which is located on a white drawing desk. Sometimes I spend as many as twelve hours without moving more than a few inches. Frequently, I forget to eat; less frequently I forget to go to bed. The only times I move are when I take care of typically neccecary functions--eating, showering, etc.--or when I go to school. Being in the summer, that's two days a week. Sometimes I go to my sister's to babysit. Further information on these things may be found on the survey page. This is just supposed to be a rundown.

ABOUT THE COMPUTER

Although I'm constructing this site online at U.U. at present--my computer being basically unreceptive of PageBuilder--I'll pretend that I'm working on it at home and tell you all about mein compy. "Pippin" is a black Dell, purchased in 2003 and given to me as a graduation present. He's Windows XP, containing a Pentium 4 CPU at 2.20 GHz and 2.19 GHz, 384 MB of RAM. The hard drive also boasts 27.9 GB of disk space, 23.9 GBs of which are compeltely full. The monitor is a very lovely 14-inch, flat panel from Dell (the Hammie-Beah stickers are my own innovation), and Pippin also has a nice black keyboard and desktop speakers which are reversed--the left speaker is on the right, the right is on the left--for purposes I will not bother to explain now. The keyboard's little brother is Liam, a black "squish," or a wrist rest. Pippin does not have his original mouse or disk drives. The mouse is a white laser mouse I recieved as a present for probably my 17th birthday. My DVD-ROM drive was cannibalized from my previous computer, Max, and is actually a good ten years old. My CD/Rewrite drive was a Christmas present from my brother a long time ago. Other hardware gifted to Pippin are a gray microphone from Labtec, a Microinnovations webcam, a white Hewlitt-Packard printer/flatbed scanner. The MP3 player hookup and digital camera card reader Pippin had have both passed on, but Pippin still has his little buddy Ewan, who is a 128 MB flash drive in transparent blue.
