At Rialto High School in 1997 in the room of Mr. Rhone` in E-207, Sigma Beta was first thought to be reinstated. Sigma Beta was first made by Phi Beta Sigma as a mentor program to insure the success of young men, by Dr. Parlett L. Moore in the 195's Currently there are Sigma Beta's all over the United States. Mr Rhone` called Corey Jackson over to his desk and presented his plans to him and requested Corey to be a part of the establishment of this organization. Then after over a year of planning and thinking, Mr. Rhone` and Corey Jackson put the planning into action in the summer of 1998. After months of continuos planning and framing, the BETA KNIGHTS CHAPTER was establihed. On Friday September 21, 1998, the first official meeting was called to order by Corey Jackson and Daniel Pineda at 7:10 a.m. in room E-207. Sigma Beta's first membets or recruits were first Daniel Pineda, Charles Turner, Lloyd Sheppard, Cesar Contreras, Calvin le, Benjamin Pedroza, Carlos Rocha, Jason Mikell, Robert Guerrero, Fernando Bacter, and Mathew Sheppard. |
