Out of the original ladies who attended our first meeting, 8 were brave
enough to return in full regalia along with 3 brave newbies.
Everyone was dressed so beautifully in their attire and I give Betty M. extra kudos for decorating her red hat with peacock feathers! How very appropriate!
Believe it or not we were at the restaurant for over 2 hours! We had our holiday gift exchange and also had drawings for a couple red hatted snowmen Christmas ornaments donated to us by one of our members.
Near the end of our lunch, a reporter & photographer from the South Bend tribune came. They took many photos and asked questions of nearly everyone. I think we may have convinced the reporter that she needs to join us as well!
