| The Hat & Dessert Party was a SMASH!!!! We had the GREATEST time! It was wonderful fun with all the Red Hatters all in the same room. We had representatives from 6 chapters there! We had a great time meeting one another and sharing the Red Hat Spirit! As it turns out.....only 28 out of the 40 showed up that had reserved seating. Who knows what happened to the rest of them? Anyhow......Peggy, the Glad Hatter, did fabulous for her first show . She has set up tables at bazaars before but this was her first party! She did great! I recieved a "Thank you gift" for hosting the show....a small table top hat stand. She also brought other accessories such as gloves and purses to sell. Peggy had the most wonderfully creative hats and so unique, no two hats were exactly the same and she brought 50 hats to show! Some were simular but all were decorated differently. She does an excellent job in her craft! Can you tell we had a great time????? I also had a purple & red plush stuffed cat that was oh so cute to give away as a door prize at the beginning of the afternoon. P.S. I LOVE MY NEW HAT!!! |
