| Our chapter was formed on Saturday, November 10, 2001 when we had our first meeting at the Cass District Library with 12 ladies attending from 8 surrounding communities in the southern Michigan and Northern Indiana areas. After introducing ourselves and getting alittle acquainted, we had the priviledge of naming our Michiana chapter and came up with many great name suggestions and narrowed it down finally deciding on PURPLE PEACOCKS! So now when we go out into public in full regalia, we have reason to strut our stuff as we ARE the PURPLE PEACOCKS! . |
