Although I had many area chapters and Purple Peacocks members who were originally interested in this 2nd Hat Show, they did not attend. Perhaps it's because the Hat lady had to reschedule my date due to a conflict on her calendar or maybe the season is just too busy for everyone with football games, Christmas bazaars and shopping. None-the-less, the 7 who attended enjoyed each others' company and got to know one another a little better. Those who attended were Queen Mum, Chris, Sandra Ely, Sondra Bookwalter, Janet Johnson, Loretta Nave, Beth Tippett and Jo-Ann Boepple from the Edwardsburg WOWs. Once again, Peggy-Jo, the Glad Hatter, had many beautiful new hats to show us as well as how to wear them. Also available for purchase were the official Red Hat Society tee shirts with the Warning Poem, scarves, bookmarks and canvas hand bags with the poem as well as othr gift items.. Next year I would love to have another Hat Show, possibly Open House style, at my home if I have enough ladies who are interested. When would be the best month for everyone?
