| What a fun afternoon we had chatting with Char Potterbaum and her guest, Joleen Krause. There were 8 regular RHS members in attendance that day dressed in their finest regalia. Ardie Eby sported a brand new red hat recieved for Mother's Day! As usual we had plenty to talk about amongst ourselves as conversation is never a problem with us Red Hatters. When we finally let Char get in a word or two, she charmed us all with her wit and funny antedotes featured in her newest books, "The Joy of Six" . She told us 2 or 3 stories from her life experience that made us all laugh which is something we really enjoy doing. This was followed by a question and answer period. She also publically announced the title of her newest co-authored book appropriately titled Granny and the Gay Guy", yet to be published. Anyone wanting to contact her about getting any one of her 5 books, contact her through her website at www.charpotterbaum.com. The day was not complete without the Queen Mum and the guest of honor both knocking over glasses of water all over the table! At least I, the Queen Mum, did not feel so bad about doing it first. :) Thank you to Joleen Krause, Char's guest, for taking the photos on this page.
