Notebooks

• Notebooks will be evaluated the fifth week of each six weeks for a MAJOR GRADE. They will either be collected and checked for completeness, or a test may be given based on the contents that should be in the notebook.
• Keep your notes and your tests for the entire semester. Keep your daily work and focus activities for the current six weeks.
• Notebooks are checked for 13 items. The cover sheet, grade sheet and dividers are worth 5 points each, other elements are worth 10 points each. See list below.
• Arrange notebooks in the following order:
  • Cover sheet (name, subject, teacher, class period)
  • Notebook grade sheet
  • Class Format
  • Safety Contract
  • Calendar
  • Notes divider
  • Class notes - entire semester
  • Daily divider
  • Daily work in date order - current six weeks
  • Tests divider
  • Tests - entire semester
  • Focus divider
  • Focus activities - current six weeks
