Varsity
Josh Berzok Senior Returning for his fourth year on the Randolph High School Golf Team, Josh looks like a solid varsity player. Berzok has lots of power off the tee, able to hit his drives up to 300 yards. Enjoys his job caddying at Morris County Country Club and reading greens. Eager to post some good varstiy scores and become a solid scorer this year. Looks to travel to the University of Massechussetts next year.
Mark Greenfogel Sophomore "Greenie" looks to be a top performer this year on the varstiy squad. Awarded Rookie of the Year last year, Mark looks for a solid season. He loves to practice the game, playing as many holes as possible on any given day. Although he lacks major distance with his longer clubs, finesse with his irons and a solid short game propell Mark to shooting those low 40's and high 30's. Playing in his first County Tournament and retourning for his second Conference Championship, Mark expects to make great strides in his scoring average and success for years to come.
Anthony Lawrence Senior Anthony is also returning for his fourth and final year on the RHS Golf Team. A varstiy player for his third year, Anthony looks to be a top preformer in the conference. Like his senior partner Berzok, Anthony has major distance with all clubs, thinking 5-iron from about 200 yards. Working on confidence and staying focused will cause Ant to be one of the top preformers on this years team. Although he tends to mumble, Anthony can be an extremely fun guy to hang around with. Keeping working on your game Anthony, those low scores will come. Expects to attend Kent University next year.
Tommy Padula Junior With a year of varstiy experience under his belt, Padula expects great things this year. Voted catpain at the commencement of the season, Tommy plans to lead the team into making the State Championships. Gaining Coach Carroll's patented "Junior Distance" is coming slow and steady; starting to hit drives longer and longer by the day. Improving his chipping and "under 100" yard game is key to lower scores. The only diabetic on the team, Tommy hopes for a low-scoring season, planning on being one of the top preformers.
Adam Work Junior Taking on the new responsibily of an everday varstiy player, Adam is hoping for a season like no other. Improving slow and steady, he plans on shooting low and improving his game greatly. A great player to be around, always causing the team to laugh, Adam can't wait to see those high 30's. Having the confidence to do so will propel Adam to low scores and a season to remember. Expects to be a great addition to the team next year.
Mark Vanadia Sophomore Having a great season last year as a rookie, Vanadia has made great strides in his game. He is leading the team as of now in average and has a great love for the game. Mark is one of those golfers who seeks "perfection" on every shot and it has caused him to shoot some extremely low scores. Planning on playing his first County and Conference Tournaments, Vanadia will expect a great Varstiy season. We will miss him next year when he travels to South Carolina to attend a high school specializing in golf.
