1. Gladiator hit the box office with more than 15 million dollars US in all of Canada and the states. They say it to be the best action-drama movie of the decade with its original soundtrack of only $10.99. Now Gladiator can be found every where in any video store.
2. Jim Carrey as "The Grinch" is just beginning to catch
up on its goal to reach 20 million dollars. But sadly one of the best martial
arts movies called "Crouching Tiger, Hiden Dragon" lost against The Grinch.
For every 20 people only 3 came watching C T, H D. and the rest watched
the Grinch.
3. Crouching Tiger, Hiden Dragon won 7 global awards last Saturday night. The movie is subtitled in english but even so, Hollywood loved the movie so much they allowed China to show their master piece to us in Canada and U.S.
4. Traffic showed us a poor performance in the theaters when it came out in Canada. Sure the movie had a lot of meaning, but sadly it wasn't right to mess it all up with 5 different stories in one single movie. The movie lasted almost 3 hours so expect yawning and snoring while watching.
5. Jurassic Park 3 seems to be in the theaters this summer 2001 everywhere. In access Holywood, they interviewed mr. Speilburg for the movie. They say 5 different kinds of dinosaurs will be shown in the movie.
6. Final Fantasy: The spirits Within will for sure come out this summer. For all gamers fans this movie will be a very successful movie bacause the summary editors of the movies section of TIME magazine watched clips before us and couldn't stop watching untill the movie was over.
7. The popular Lara Croft will be in theaters this summer with twice the action than the original Tomb Raider game for playstation. This movie will hit the box office once it comes out but we are still unsure about if it will be successful in the big screen.
8. Hannibal: Break the Silence was a disappointment for Silence of the Lambs fans but was very admired by first watchers of Dr. Hannibal Lecter. They told us that the movie is ver violent and scenes are quite disturbing so the rating will be very high in the united states.
9. Jet Li won't be in the movie The Matrix 2 but a new oriental female will take his place. We cancelled Jet Li for this movie because he is the most expensive actor in China and money is a big problem in our company.
10. Toy story 2 is better than the first one! Some fans
said at the box office section of Block buster. They say so because their
favorite character Buzz Lightyear is in the movie more than woody and for
his minions of fans. There are 2 Buzz Lightyear in the movie! So I think
it will double up the action!
