Operation and performance of unit and intermediate maintenance on Land Combat Support System (LCSS test station AN/TSM-93).  Performance of LCSS preoperational procedures, energized and de-energized LCSS and Repair and Ground Support (RGS) vans during daily operations, determination of LCSS status utilizing system survey, confidence, and maintenance programs, performance of diagnostic tests on LCSS assemblies utilizing test programs to fault isolate or verify serviceability.  Performed adjustments and alignment of mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies.  Performance and diagnostic certification and verification testing of assemblies, subassemblies, and supported weapon system assemblies of LANCE, TOW, DRAGON, and SHILLELAGH weapons systems. 

 The Land Combat Support System test specialist supervises, operates, and performs unit and direct and general support level maintenance on Land Combat Support Systems. Operates test station, AN/TSM-93.

a.  Skill Level 1. Operates test station, AN/TSM-93 (LCSS).

b.  Skill Level 2. Operates and performs unit and DS/GS level maintenance on test station, AN/TSM--93 (LCSS) and shop equipment, AN/TSM-94 (RGS).

c.   Skill Level 3. Supervises unit and DS/GS level maintenance of LCSS. 

Formal training (completion of MOS 27B course conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Ordnance Missile and Munitions Center and School) mandatory; or waiver issued by Commandant, USAOMMCS, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35895-6 100); or meet the civilian acquired skills criteria listed in AR 601-210.
