In Loving Memory of Sarah Elizabeth Reborn- September 13, 2000 - September 20, 2000
"Run along and join the others who have gone before you. Rest assured our paths will someday meet again. Fear not, for you will never be forgotten. Have faith; our love will sustain us until then. Look for me on the bridge. I will be the one carrying a knapsack laden with special treats for all the four-legged angels awaiting me on the other side. Momma loves you sweet baby, more than words could possibly express." Cynthia Tessier
This beautiful good-bye was written by Cynthia Tessier, Sarah's foster mother. Sarah's time with us was all too short. She was rescued from the "injured animal" section of the Miami/Dade shelter on September 13, 2000. Sarah was a beautiful Ridgeback with a sweet disposition. Despite our many prayers, our tears and our love, Sarah lost her battle to live. Now, we must reflect, say good-bye and search for answers. Good-bye sweet Sarah...If only it could have been different. It takes a special person to endure this kind of pain...Thanks so much Cynthia for giving this girl so much love and in the end...living with so many regrets...Kathy
Lulu is now living with her new mom in North Carolina. She is doing very well. Thanks Kendra!
Lulu and Ranger were both living in horrible neglectful situations before they were rescued. Both were adopted and are living in North Carolina. Thanks Amy for providing Ranger with such a loving home....Kathy
This is Ricoh. He was picked up as a stray by the Clay County Animal Control. He was never claimed by his owner. He was adopted by Kendra and Shane who are very lucky to have such a gentle, friendly, well trained Rhodesian Ridgeback. Thanks Kendra and Shane...for providing Ricoh with a second chance on a wonderful life.....Kathy
