| A New Met Father I grew up without you never having a chance of being a "daddy's girl" Really never understanding why my father wasn't around Now I have met you And have a chance to have a father At first you were like a stranger I didn't know how to act I was sure you wouldn't accept me and again I wouldn't have a father. So I acted like myself Put no act upfront. To my surprise I feel you accepted me Just as I am No changes or alterations You treated me as though I meant something Being around you I've come to the conclusion That I love you Dad and one thing is definite of my new met father I am Proud! |
