| A Boy and A Girl There once was a boy and a girl we knew Whose skies were always blue. Laughter, love, and trust they shared and they never showed they were scared. What happened to these two lovebirds? They now scarcely speak words. Did their love hit their peak? So much so they can no longer speak. Guilt, mistrust, infidelity, and shame, and neither one of them is to blame. Can they re-build this tower? Underneath all of this--is there the power? They must look into their hearts before they decide to part. Somewhere deep inside this mess I'd dare to take a guess Is a boy and a girl that truly loves the other. |
