Oh yes we have Banana
But
No Dasheenbush, Ochoro, or Congo Pepper so don't ask meh to make Callaloo.
It en have no Yam, Eddoes, or Cassava either so de ground provision thing is out.
Thanks to a great idea, we have Parsely, Sage, Rosemary, & ; Thyme w/ Celery & Basil thrown in for good measure.

De Flowers dem coming slowly but they comin to come...The Fuchsia's remind me of a Minshall costume in the Carnival Tuesday hot sun.

Not everything thrived...some things are on the discard list as we speak, some did not even bother to show up, and the poor lawn is holding on for dear life.
But "desert soil" and all I love my green space...

The Oleander's are for Rita
the Sunflowers are for my rays of Sunshine on those cloudy days.

'Up in de hills, where de streams are cool,
An mullet an janga swim in de pool,
I have ten acres of mountain side,
An a dainty-foot donkey dat I ride,
Four Gros Michel, an four Lacatan,
Some coconut trees, and some hills of yam,
An I pasture on dat very same lan
Five she-goats an a big black ram,
Dat, by God an dis big right han
Is de property of a banana man.
Like a Sunflower
which follows every movement of the Sun
so I turn toward you to follow you, my God.
Mum's the word until the fall when the flowers will really shout!
Toe-ma-toes or to-mae-toes. I Can't wait for these green buds to get ripe
Loves water, hates hot temps, but so beautiful.
When he has done and finished his work,
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme,
Ask him to come for his cambric shirt,
For then he'll be a true love of mine
