TALLIE RATLIFF
Mrs. Tallie Ratliff, 78, resident of Staffordsville, died in a
local hospital at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday February 13 1963,
following a ten-day illness.
The daughter of the Late Allen and Mary Collins Ratliff,
she was born June 12 1884, and had been a lifelong resident
of the Staffordsville Community. She was a member of the
United Baptist Church.
Her husband Edd Ratliff, preceded her in death six years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Bert Ratliff, Ashland;
Robert Ratliff, of this city; Mason Ratliff, West
Van Lear; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Clevenger, and
Mrs. Frank Conley both of Paris, Ky.; Mrs.Marvin Little,
Staffordsville; Mrs. Den Centers, Collista; also
surviving are 34 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the
Third Street Baptist Church with John F. Ratliff and
Claude Preston officiating.
Music was by the Rice Quartet.
Burial was in the Family Cemetery.
